Feedback gevenHowever, I have to address a concerning incident involving the manager, Jessica. We witnessed her rude and uncalled-for comments directed at Gracie, which were quite noticeable. On the other hand, Gracie was wonderful with all her tables; we heard compliments from every group she served. Jessica, we hope you can improve your approach and take a cue from Gracie's excellent demeanor.
We were quite disappointed with our experience here. It took a while for us to be seated. On a positive note, our waitress was outstanding—she was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the atmosphere felt a bit lifeless. The food didn't measure up to what we've experienced at other traditional restaurants in the area; it was rather bland and tasted generic. Additionally, the table was sticky. We don't plan on returning. The restaurant has a lot of history, but it would benefit greatly from improvements to both the atmosphere and the food.
We dropped by for a late lunch after my husband's doctor's appointment. I would have rated the food 5 stars, but one or two items on our menu could have used a little improvement. I found it to be slightly expensive for my budget, but overall, it was a decent dining experience. Food: 4/5.
Red Snapper was good as were the sweet potato fries my husband said. I had the SPECIAL of the day Prime Rib it was not good. It was like it was reheated. Potatoes were good as was brocolli.We won't be back. This was our second try in the last few years. This visit was worse than the first.Parking: There were only 5 cars.
Great food...reasonable prices on salads and sandwiches. I love their chicken salad on bed of lettuce and tomato. Everyone very friendly and service is top notch.
