The Crown - Milton Keynes

An excellent English breakfast. Really good quality food and that is prepared with care. The staff are lovely and really take pride in the service they offer and that you are having a good experience. Thank you Senna. Also regularly have a roast dinner here to with friends. Highly recommend. Great atmosphere, always feel very welcome.

We have been customers at The Crown for approximately 18 years, with varying experiences ranging from mediocre to extremely disappointing. However, the establishment has significantly improved and is now consistently delivering great food (especially their epic Sunday lunch) and excellent service. The Manager was outstanding, offering a good selection of dishes in a peaceful dining atmosphere while the bar had a lively and bustling atmosphere. We highly recommend visiting The Crown, as it is rewarding to see a local pub thriving. Congratulations to the team at The Crown!

8.30 booking, only 2 left in restaurant, basically told we couldn’t order desert as kitchen closes at 9, despite taking booking for 8.30. After we ordered, the chef said he would wait if we wanted desert, unfortunately food was MEH so we left. Shame as lovely building, staff very friendly, but we won’t be rushing back.

The staff is friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is pleasant, and Freddy, the server, was very attentive and quick. The bar area has good WiFi. The food is typical pub fare. The kids' burgers could be a bit larger, but overall, I am very satisfied. I will definitely return.

Thought we would retry The Crown as apparently under new management. We were expecting a cosy welcoming Christmassy atmospheric Boxing Day lunch. Booked well advance What we got was a table by the bar, no atmosphere, no Christmas decorations, lukewarm food we waited 45 mins for. One meal was quite nice although lukewarm warm. The other meal was dry and lukewarm. Both the Merlot and Malbec wines were horrible So disappointing Doubt we will bother trying it again
