Great place for seafood dishes. Great little place on the east side. Drinks were also very good.
I thought that was more interesting than it was; Oysters on the half shell were not served on ice at Raumtemp... very old interior and unimaginative menu. It was okay we had fun anyway. The server seemed inexperienced, but tried hard and that was appreciated. With all the other restaurants in the area, I'm not sure if I would go back, although we were there on Monday and I understand that they have a better mood in busy nights.
Great culinary experience. Three friends together to celebrate a birthday. Had the Florida grouper who was the top notch. Both friends enjoyed the shrimps and grottos. Had the cheese salad again delicious. Special brands for the grilled Romaine salad, tho. The ambience is fine, but not as interesting as expected. I want our waiter (chip?), which is very entertaining and offers excellent service and information.
We walked from the water (came to Milwaukee by boat) and we were told Brady Street was the place to go for lots of options. I saw that Bosley on Brady was categorized for seafood so that 's why we picked it. The place was packed, but we got a table for the 2 of us right away, and were greeted by our waiter Jesse who was great. Started by ordering a bottle of the Frank Family Chardonnay, one of our favorite wineries from Napa. We shared the Devils on Horseback appetizer: gorgonzola wrapped dates, wrapped in bacon with a ginger orange sauce! They were outstanding! We both ordered the sea scallops which were amazing, done perfectly and big. They came with a pancetta and blue cheese risotto which was delicious. I was a little worried that the blue cheese may be too strong for me but it was a delicate hint and I loved it. For dessert we shared a bowl of fresh fruit...blackberries, raspberries, blueberries with some fresh whipped cream . The perfect ending. If you haven 't tried this restaurant you are missing out. We will go back, the next time we are in Milwaukee.
