Champion Chicken - Milwaukee

Listen food was great like always. Except this time guy taking our order on the phone was extremely rude and actually lied to me and told me they don't serve any ice cream or similar dessert at the restaurant. When menu clearly shows several ice cream options and have personally ordered that from there so many times in past. So I'm disappointed we ith this experience. Hope next time goes better. This happened on 7/20/23 7:30pm.

I have ordered both the ribs and chicken from here and both were very tasty. The ribs were falling off the bone (which is how I like them) and the chicken was very flavorful.Food: 4/5

So whoever this Arabian dude is that's working there. I guess doing the cooking, handling the money takeout orders, is a straight up di$k head. Was really nasty with me when going inside to pickup a Grubhub order. And when I said thank you to him after shoving my bag at me, he didn't have the decency to say anything back. Wasn't like it was even crowded in there at all. He was on huIs personal cellphone looking angry.Sadly, this Champion Chicken has gone straight down hill. Not to be funny, but those white dudes that was running it (previous owner the crew) knew how to do it. Never had a bad experience with those guys girls. Wish they would come back. ?

I had not visited this restaurant in several years, but decided to stop by for a quick ice cream to pass the time. I ordered a hot fudge sundae with pecans. However, what I received was a plastic cup with chocolate syrup splattered on the sides and a scoop of ice cream topped with pecans. The ice cream, which used to be creamy custard, now seemed more like a gritty vanilla ice milk. Despite costing me $5, I ended up throwing it away as it was not worth the price. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant.

I have ordered from this restaurant a few times before and have never had any issues with delivery or service. However, today I was told that my delivery would take 45 minutes to an hour. After waiting for an hour and 15 minutes, I called to check on the status and was informed that they were just preparing my order and it would still be another 20 to 30 minutes before it was ready for delivery. The person I spoke to denied that they had originally taken my order and quoted me this timeframe. I asked to speak with a manager but was told that he was not available. Frustrated, I decided to cancel my order and requested a refund. I will never be ordering food from this restaurant again!
