I bet rock bottom brewery or any other pubgrub place in milwaukee was packed. but that would be a perfect place to go before or after a show in pabst, the rep or riverside. my wife had the roasted beet salad and the special in this night, clam chowder for beginners. both were excellent. salmon tournado was a perfect escape as the garnels with polnta
Best!. they are located in a first class restaurant with a well-trained chef if they don't have to season at the table. kil@ wat is such a food. on Sunday evening we discovered that the kitchen of Kil@Wat offers a limited menu on clear, which offers hotel lounge and room service. we enjoyed the butternut squash suppe and the modern caesar salad. both were fresh and balanced. the next day we enjoyed the ny strip steak with delicate friten. this kitchen uses high-quality, fresh ingredients and prepares a distinctive menu. the prices are very reasonable and the servier sizes are perfect. Fabulous! we usually avoid restaurants in hotels. but that was such a joy, everything we ordered was light, fresh, tasteful. Of course, the pretzel bakings are great with honey-butter (comlimentary). our table got steak fries (a classic very well made), garnelen cavatini pasta so tasteful and yet light), and rosmarin polenta arugula fig salat (especially great), all the martinis were delicious. loved the tree tini and drink rosmarin. dessert was okay.
Good burger. Tried Kil@wat during Milwaukee's Downtown Dining Week. For a $10 lunch, you get a choice of appetizer, entree and dessert. The roasted red pepper soup was good, along with the pretzel rolls and honey butter. I shared a Big Boy Burger and Chicken Panini with my friend. Didn't finish my 1/2 of the panini, as I was full. The Big Boy Burger was great. The classic that I remembered from working at Marc's Big Boy. For dessert, I had a New York cheesecake, which was creamy and delicious. I certainly would pay a second visit to Kil@wat.
Mmmm. . . Pretzel buns. Always love the pretzel buns and honey butter here. Had a great sea scallop appetizer encrusted with potato and cauliflower puree.
