Feedback gevenWhat a transformation! Six months ago, the service here was terrible—I'd swear Ray Kroc was turning in his grave. This once-great fast-food chain had dropped the ball, with wait times often exceeding 20 minutes. Clearly, this McDonald's has recognized the issue and has done an excellent job of speeding things up back to pre-COVID levels. When I stopped by for a late-night snack recently, I was greeted with a line of cars that stretched 20 deep, and I braced myself for a long wait. To my surprise, I was at the drive-thru window with my food in hand in less than 15 minutes! How did the Big Mac and fries taste? They were remarkably fresh. Kudos to this McDonald's for making the necessary changes and actually delivering fast food at the speed it deserves!
It was just okay, as usual. I didn't really buy anything since the food is consistently as average as McDonald's. The line was short, but it moved surprisingly slowly on election day.
I placed my order on the McDonald's website, but when I arrived at the location on W. North Ave. in Milwaukee, the drive-thru staff told me they had no record of my order. I was asked the same question multiple times by the same manager, which was frustrating. I ended up waiting for my food longer than expected, so I thought at least it would be hot, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case. To make matters worse, I received my sundae before my Coke. Also, just a heads-up—there's no longer honey as a condiment option, only honey mustard. I've been using honey with my nuggets for 30 years, and I'm really disappointed about this change.
My order was taken at 6:33 a.m. I was three cars from the food window for over 10 minutes. When I finally got up to the food window I was handed someone else's order. The employee seem very shocked by this and while I appreciate that he started to shout out to the kitchen what my order was by this time I could not afford to wait any longer as I had to get to work by 7. I couldn't even bother to ask for a refund as I had no faith it would be processed quickly. I drove off $4.12 poorer and hungry.
Both of the syrup containers they gave me had already been pulled open and then were pressed down and folded over to look shut again. All I did is gently lift, the seal on these was broken. Syrup was all over my stuff and I had to throw them away...
