Found this place on here looking for a indian Buffet for lunch. Very disappointing experience. Should of known it was a mistake to eat here when we struggled to find the place outside on Jefferson street. Once we finally stumbled into the building and down the stairs we were disappointed with the selection. Typical Indian dishes served in what I'm guessing is a more Pakistani style, this place was underwhelming. Chicken was dry yet still greasy, and they were out of roti at 1:15, which seemed like a perfectly reasonable lunch time. Be prepared for a cafeteria style experience with canned soda and plasticware.

We came towards the end of their rather unusual hours.

Great food for the costI have been here a few times and that's only because I didn't feel it was tasty enough to bring me back.

Shah Jee's is a hidden gemIt won't be the fanciest place you ever visit; it's definitely a "no frills" type of establishment.
