Twisted Fisherman - Milwaukee

I have had better service at Culver's than at this restaurant. The waitress seemed to be absent and we were disappointed with the lack of attention. Despite giving the restaurant another chance, the mediocre service we received in the past continued during this visit. We were surprised to find out that they did not have king crab available, even though it was listed on the menu. They blamed it on their supplier's quality issues, but there are surely other suppliers they could have used. After reading similar reviews in the past, I am doubtful that we will be coming back to this restaurant again.

The staff were attentive without being intrusive. The Milwaukee Fish Chowder is always a hit. Our friends who visited for the first time enjoyed the food, the prices, and the beautiful riverside location. We love bringing new people to experience all that this restaurant has to offer. The rum carrots and mac and cheese are both delicious. The broccoli may be a common side, but theirs is vibrant and incredibly fresh.

The food was delicious. We were disappointed to find that the menu shown online did not match the actual menu available at the restaurant.

Good food at a good price. Will go back when the weather is warmer to better enjoy the open atmosphere.

This is a hidden gem and we are glad we found it. Great seafood is a very casual and friendly atmosphere. Great location on the Milwaukee River and close to Potawatomi.
