Feedback gevenWe had a tasting menu (set menu), we were a large group (more than 15 people with children of different ages) and the service was excellent. All meals are made from bread to appetizers to dessert. The place itself is beautiful with large windows overlooking a terrace garden. You need to book in advance as most things are done the same day. Very recommended, it has parking, located 300 mts from balneario pasó de las tropas.
Las Pircas is a very special place. The food is excellent and the view is stunning. Everything I tasted was delicious, from the bread that they bring to the table, to the dishes, to dessert. It is located under the Sierras (hills) and the atmosphere is simply enchanting. Definitely worth a visit!
The pircas is one of the restaurants in the area that do not go unnoticed, its system has lovers and detractors but never indifferent. The menu is unique and consists of 9 steps among which are flavored breads, olives with morrones, raw ham with ananá foam, cheese souplé, mushrooms to the cream of blue cheese, lomo with mushrooms and lemon cream and what is the fort of the house: a canopy with garlic and parsley sauce and natural potatoes. dessert: masses of walnuts and almonds with homemade milk sweet, chilled peach and lemon pie. All this is being served carefully from the hand of don mario as a tasting (except the kid that looks more like a main dish), so it is necessary to clarify that it is not a place for anything suitable for those who expect portions to share or access a variant of what the host has already scheduled for us. The pircas is a place that makes comensal feel like the center of attention of the owners, taking them for a trip of flavors that will not be found elsewhere in the valley.
At the entrance, Mario told me to reassure myself, because I could only choose if I wanted red or white wine, the food was taken care of by him and his wife, if I didn't drip, I didn't pay him and everything well, naturally we ate spectacularly and we returned 2 times that January, the same in 1983 and 1984 and the following years, always carrying friends and relatives, we already fulfilled 35 years, enjoy the quality!
If you are looking for a place to discover flavors, you will get the kitchen and the food of the author, the restaurant the pircas is that place. in a room surrounded by nature, with good atmosphere. no CARTA...the service is only offered with prior reservation because all the dishes are prepared at the time and for the amount of just comensals. of the entrances I highlight the blue cheese foam, the browned eggplants, accompanied with special breads fresh out of the oven, raw ham with a puree of ananá and toasted panceta, herring prepared in the Nordic form,etc. The main dish is a mammon kid. and desserts are a conjunction of cakes, freed and sweet...a lot of dishes are about 15 at least. to my drop all special and richy. the price is not low . but the gastronomic experience is worth .
