Kazahana - Minato

We had the osechi on the new day of the year and I highly recommend it. It comes with three Ju that there are three boxes. Enjoyed every piece of it and the price is reasonable.

5 star sushi experience. sat at the sushi bar counter for lunch, sushi cook Ogawa san was attentive and informative, served a series of seasonal spring fish I was not with, but excellent flavors and paired perfectly w the sake of sadogashima. Additional bonus after your meal move to the window with seating where you can enjoy tea and dessert.

We had just arrived at the hotel late evening and had no energy to go out and look for dinner. Hotel manager Peter recommended us to dine in at the hotel and help us make a reservation at Kazahana. Beautiful restaurant and prix fixe options, a la carte and a kids menu. Even though the atmosphere was upscale they had no issue with our 2 year old tagging along. We ordered one of the course menu and we will let the pictures do the talking. Lovely dinner

A very good restaurant with amazing views focused around an upscale Japanese course. It is expensive as expected for such a place, but relatively flexible to order a la carte and has a very reasonable junior menu for children if a full course is too much. The dishes are well thought through.

The good: nice view, excellent sashimi tuna, nice atmosphere. Nice wines on the menu. The bad: We had a Christmas dinner set, 7 courses. Food ranged from OK to tasteless (with exception for the sashimi), presentation was good. We are used to Japanese cuisine, this may be a special traditional menu for Christmas, but it should still taste something. We didn't get water until we asked for it. Unattentive staff despite full crew at work. The ugly: Extremely overpriced for the quality of the food. Very high markup on wine and drinks. You can have Michelin class dinner with drinks for less almost anywhere in the world. Just choose somewhere else to have dinner. The bar at Conrad is good. Dinner here is just not worth it.
