A little touristy there were definitely more tourists there than locals but maybe it’s because it’s a fairly residential area and the people there weren’t prepared to pay $20 for one slice of beef bbq price is ok for ny standard but probably seem more expensive for most others. A fair number of staff spoke English.
Great experience. The zabuton (shoulder? was a standout. Soft serve was surprisingly good too so worth ordering. Staff spoke English and explained how to cook all the beef. In total, spent approx 17k yen for 2 people.
Wagyu quality is really good. It's bit out of the way and you do need reservations. It's popular with the tourist and not many locals. Pretty sure even for the quality of meat the food is overpriced. 4oz fillet for $70 dollars seems bit excessive. I didn't care of many of the side dishes as they didn't offer enough acid or spices to cut through the rich marbling of the beef. Garlic fried rice was good but again butter rich flavors on top of marbled beef.
When you want to experience foodgasm in your mouth.. this is the place to go. Melts in your mouth beef! The best yakiniku I ever had. Not cheap but definitely worth every penny. Highly recommended to call for RSVP. Ambience is nice and cozy; Price
Best, premium meat. Incredibly awesome. Sirloin is a must! Other than that, hot stone grilled bibimbab and kimchi are also great. I also like pork cheek and pork loin, they are properly marinated and taste just perfect. Services are superb, with attention to small details. Prices are reasonable. Will be back for sure.
