We were disappointed that quite a number of their menu options were unavailable, and this was on a Saturday night. There were three of us. They only had one salmon remaining, so two of us split that. It was quite delicious. The sake offerings were interesting also. The wait staff were very attentive and apologetic. All in all a good experience, but it would have been nice if we could have had a broader food selection.
The owner of the restaurant is very friendly and has a great understanding of sake. She is fluent in English, which is helpful for customers from abroad. The sake pairings with the seasonal courses are outstanding and well-priced. Sitting at the counter is a highlight of the meal, as you can interact with the owner and learn more about sake. Overall, it was a 10/10 experience and I highly recommend this restaurant!
This restaurant is a great choice for a romantic dinner or a meal with friends. It is located just a 10-minute walk from our hotel, near Shibakoen park. We opted for the seasonal dinner option, priced at 7000 yen per person, and also tried the sake pairing for an additional 6000 yen. The sake pairing is particularly enjoyable for those who are new to sake. The food was good, though not outstanding, and was presented beautifully. The restaurant has a modern yet simple decor, and the service was excellent. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others.
Our second visit to this very special place and it definitely did not disappoint. If you want to taste Japan's best sake paired with incredible food, presented by a most gracious host this is your place!
Simple but surprisingly good French cuisine in Japanese style. Sake (Nihon shu pairing) excellent with different tastes. Excellent explanation from Sommelier, a woman charming, discreet, but very attentive to our needs. Go. The route is worth it! PS: The sommelier even reminded me when I came a few years ago. Unbelievable and impressive, right?
