Small, authentic restaurant with great local fare and music. Felt like time travel eating here. Best of Mindelo!
Delicious great value and generous portions for our lunch. Squid and a fish stew were only £10. Great coffee afterwards. Much better food than the highly overpriced and rather poor Casa Cafe Mindelo, a few yards away. Friendly and attentive service as well.
I’m sorry Puerto Rico but Cape Verdean stewed chicken is sooooooooooooo good.
A very mixed experience. The first time, we had very good food for a very reasonable price. It took a bit longer but it was worth the wait. The second time we got there, the food was nothing special at all but was very quick. Not sure if this depends on the day (Saturday the first time, Tuesday the second time). I 'm giving 4/5 stars as I hope the okay-ish food was an exception.
