Taglio Roman Style Pizza - Mineola

Without a doubt, this is the best pizza on Long Island! The Roman-style pizza features high-quality ingredients. A few years ago, I visited Rome for a wedding and searched for slices that could compare—none could! I’m not trying to dismiss other pizzerias, but if you’re eating industrial products from Sysco, you might be contributing to what’s wrong with society. The staff here are incredibly friendly, too!

Dag Nab It!!! This place somehow ruined me for pizza. I don't live nearby, but all my regular joints will never live on this level. Now I have to either allow for the travel time or suffer with a fee. The pizzas are much creative, far beyond bbq and buffalo chicken. You could say they're out of line. And the ovens are key. I think there's only one other place in Greenport that has it. It's worth the trip, but warn that it can ruin you.

I visited Taglio Pizza for the first time while on jury duty in Mineola, and I have to say, it felt like a little slice of Italy when it comes to authentic pizza. It’s the best pizza I’ve had in years! With every bite, I could taste the fresh basil and other Italian herbs. Whenever I’m back in Mineola, I’m definitely making a stop for a slice or two.

Pizza was very delicious. Location was hard to find, even with Google maps. I liked the normal tomato sauce and potato pizzas. Really big fights on the crust. Nice to see a Roman style pizza al Taglio place, they are not very common. A critique I think there was a little inferior truffle oil on the mushroom, tasted/melded a little strange I wish they would leave the truffle oil would have been great with only the mushrooms.

This restaurant serves phenomenal Roman-style pizza. I sampled slices of pepperoni, white, spinach and artichoke, eggplant parm, mushroom, and chicken marsala. The pepperoni slice was truly outstanding—so crispy that it didn't even last the ride home! All the other slices were fantastic as well. The dough has a distinctive flavor, and you can really taste the oil in each bite. I highly recommend this place!
