Blue Door Pub Longfellow - Minneapolis

We met our daughter and her boyfriend for an excellent casual dinner at the Longfellow location. Seating outside as well as in. They’re known for their burgers but also have amazing chicken wings and boneless nuggies in a variety of creative flavors. We started with their awesome deep fried pickles. I’ll admit I’m kind of a Minnesota State Fair deep fried pickles snob and these are the beet I’ve had outside the gates! My wife enjoyed the Jiffy Burger which yes you guessed it featured peanut butter in addition to pepper jack cheese,, bacon, mayo, and pickle. She had deep fried green beans on the side which again were garden fresh on the inside and perfectly crispy on the outside. I loved the Bacon Blucy burger with bacon cheddar cheese, bacon and pickle with a side of tots yum all of my favorite food groups Our daughter loved the Cajun chicken nuggies (garlic, paprika, cayenne, onion black pepper) with her signature side of ranch and veggies Her boyfriend devoured his Cease Desist burger an updated cheeseburger with crispy fries. Such a great time Excellent service we will definitely be back.

This is a total ripoff. I paid over $15.00 for very small cheeseburger with no flavor. Did not get any chips/fries with it. That is not even offered. You can purchase tots for an extra fee. I asked for barbecue sauce and they did not have any. Had to pay a hospitality fee. I assume for cleaning for Covid. I did not see any extra cleaning taking place. Will not eat here again.

Blue Door offers many great burgers including multiple flavors of Blucy which is their version of the Minnesota Classic Jucy Lucy which is a stuffed burger. Their selection of Blucy's range from simple to extreme. I love the Cease and Desist. They also serve other common bar foods like regular cheese burgers and chicken sandwiches. Their Totchos (nachos where you replace the chips with tots) are always delicious and the unique flavors they come up with are gold! They are also known for their wings with a wide selection of flavors. They constantly add new flavors of the moment making it easy to try something new every time you visit. Don't forget to round out your meal with a beer or two from their tap beer list. You'll find a great selection of both local breweries and those from around the USA.

Overpriced for a very mediocre burger, dry bun. I nearly missed my flight due to the seemingly purposeful delay in service and lackadaisical attitude, despite the full-service tip I had left. Just to reiterate: Total waste of money.

We never even got to sit down. The lady behind the bar yelled something that we didn’t understand and didn’t even look at us for more then a second. Bad customer service.
