Bonchon Seven Hills - Minneapolis

This place is amazing. Chicken is super flavorful and crispy without being oily. The sauce wasn?t too thick so it didn?t stick to your skin. My hands didn?t feel super dirty after eating, and it was super easy to clean up. After trying other Korean fried chicken restaurants like bbq chicken, this place is definitely the best I?ve had.

I had a horrible experience eating from this place. I usually love Bonchon, but had never tried the one in the mall at the time. I had the combo with the wings and drumsticks which is usually solid. Except several hours later, I had horrible stomach cramps and chills. So much so that I couldn?t eat dinner and tried to sleep it off. The next day is when I realized... I had food poisoning from my meal. I don?t even want to tell you how many times I needed to use the bathroom in a day. It took two weeks for my stomach to go back to normal. It was the first time I ever had food poisoning and it was truly an awful experience. Please make sure chicken is at temp and being changed often. I hope no else has to go through what I did because they ate here.

I tried the chicken katsu on recommendation from the attendant and I'm so glad I did. It is a delicious crispy slab of chicken on white rice, striped with spicy mayo and a side of coleslaw. I can't wait to try more. If you like trying new flavors like I do, I highly recommend you also give this a try.

My boyfriend and I love Bonchon?s fried chicken. We?ve only tried the soy garlic sauce and it?s delicious! The sauce different from anything we have had before, but it has great flavor. The chicken is always super crispy. We did get the takoyaki once and it wasn?t the best. It just seemed like it wasn?t cooked all the way through. Other than that, the chicken and French fries are always fantastic.

I've always loved Bonchon in Maple Grove. My kids love the wings there too. Today I was shopping at MOA with my family and nephew. So I decided to buy 24 pieces boneless wings to share with my kids and nephews. I told them how delicious the Bonchon wings are. Wow...this location (Bonchon at MOA) proved me so wrong. Their wings are super super salty. It was as if they poured whole salt into the chicken. So disappointed! ! By the way, I have to throw most of the chicken away because of how salty they were.
