Hazel's Northeast - Minneapolis

This place had the best chicken fried steak I have ever had in my life! They take care in making old dishes and new dishes extraordinarily delicious. I went back the next day to try their drunken French toast and it was the best French toast I have ever had in my life. The wait staff was super friendly and the outdoor seating allowed me to keep an eye on my bike which probably wasn't needed in this neighborhood.

French toast was incredible! We had a reservation and waited for a half hour still but it was worth it. It’s very cozy in there.

Dear Hazels NE! You've been here for years. It is an old school joint that serves Americana with great service! Tonight we had chicken wafers, fish chips and gumbo. Everyone was very happy with his meals and again the service was very attentive. I had the gumbo that was delicious, but the shrimps were not properly revealed. Will visit Hazels NE again

Absolutely fantastic brunch! Fun atmosphere. Great staff. Had bleeding, chickens fried steak w/wurst gravy and hash browns, and the Brisket hash. Both were amazing! Will definitely return.

This is my favorite breakfast in the area where I was. The staff is friendly and courteous, the food is delicious, and the menu is not overwhelming. You want to make a reservation as this place fills up quickly!
