La Fresca - Minneapolis

Started with Guacamole. Interesting presentation served with chili spiced oil blend on plate around. A bit pricey, but very good food, atmosphere, staff. Lots of seafood. I'll be back. Carne asada was a tender juicy medium beef tenderloin sliced. Nothing was to spicy.

Great little intimate restaurant food was amazing the staff was very knowledgeable and prompt with our requests Will definitely return.

This is not your traditional Mexican restaurant. It's certainly Mexican flavored inspired dishes but you won't find any burritos here not a bad thing, it just caught us off guard walking past when we saw a Mexican restaurant. The guacamole is phenomenal and the carne asada (aka tenderloin) with asparagus and potatoes au gratin was delicious. Most of the entrees are seafood dishes though so if you're not a fish person your only other protein option is steak I couldn't see any chicken on the menu. Wonderful service and a beautiful patio environment.

Wonderful food, great service and lovely patio. Love that it's right in the heart of its South Minneapolis neighborhood!

Quality of food has declined over the previous years. My wife's dish was not as described in the menu. The grouper that I had was meh. Good cocktails.
