Normandy Kitchen - Minneapolis

I had never visited this place for breakfast before, and it was fantastic. The fresh squeezed orange juice was delightful, the bacon was thick and delicious, and the oat milk latte was perfect. The service was exceptional, and even on a Saturday morning, we didn't have to wait at all. As a local who has tried many breakfast spots, I can say this is truly a hidden gem.

The room service was excellent, and the staff were fantastic. The Caesar salad was tasty, but I found it a bit small for the price. It came with two tiny anchovies, so keep that in mind if you're not a fan of fishy smells. However, the French onion soup was outstanding! I can't say enough good things about it.

The bartenders and managers were amazing. I had one of the best French onion soups I've enjoyed in a long time. We visited several times for food and cocktails while in town for the Billy Joel concert.

Food and service are uneven but generally good. The people are always friendly and well-meaning.

Old school charm at its best. Don’t let the “curb appeal” of next door hotel dissuade you. This place is the real deal. Good food. Wonderful service. And above all a great cocktail spot where you can actually have a conversation and linger a bit. And on warm days the outdoor cafe tables are the best part (especially on this side of downtown). This place has been around forever for a reason.
