Sooki Mimi - Minneapolis

I visited Pizzeria Lola a few months ago, but we decided to check out Sookie Mimi after seeing the Chef's Table feature on Ann Kim! The staff at this restaurant was outstanding; everyone was enthusiastic, welcoming, and knowledgeable. The layout of the restaurant was beautiful and offered plenty of seating. We had made reservations, but the place seemed large enough that we probably wouldn’t have needed them for an early dinner. The food and drinks were just as delightful as we had hoped—truly delicious and impeccable! Our two favorite dishes were the incredible Korean wings and Korean pork tacos. The butcher’s cut was cooked to perfection, but be warned—it’s spicy! Everything was reasonably priced as well. Now we just need to find the time to try Young Joni!

Everything was fantastic! The mushroom tacos were exquisite, and the flank steak was both tender and juicy. The only downside was that the cocktails were a bit lackluster. Overall, I can't wait to return!

I absolutely loved this restaurant! The atmosphere is charming, and the service is excellent. There's a 21% surcharge for the servers since tipping is not permitted, but that shouldn't deter you; the service is still outstanding. The pork tacos were fantastic, and the walleye tacos were delicious too. The broccolini side dish was amazing. I tried one of their specialty drinks and found it to be light and refreshing. Overall, it was a wonderful evening. The restrooms were quite impressive too!

We loved our first time into Sooki Mimi. The drinks and food were great. I don't think it's as much fusion as I'd have liked but it was decent. I'd consider coming back.

You had better love amazing flavors because that's what you are going to get! Amazing as always. I was skeptical about the fusion but 100% convinced. They were able to accommodate my milk protein allergy including dessert. Fresh, crisp, complex anddelicious.
