They give you big portions with finely chopped onions and cilantro that 's with everything and you get the center of the onion roasted and a whole pepper roasted (more for decoration), too, along with lime wedges, salt, salsa, and a few radish slices. Perfect, quick lunch! My favorite are the tacos al pastor, but I love the carne asada and carnitas, too. It should be noted, the carnitas are more of a cut vibe instead of shredded. Love this lil ' hole in the wall!Wheelchair accessibility: It would probably be hard to impossible to navigate the doors and sidewalk in front of the building with a wheelchair. There are parking place markers all accross the front sidewalk and the door opens right into the next door.
My wife and I tried the new food truck on July 31st and both ended up getting food poisoning. We wouldn't have immediately blamed the truck, but it was the only food that both of us had that day or the next, so there's no doubt it was the cause. It was especially frustrating because my wife was 8 months pregnant at the time. There was also a baby in the truck when we visited, which was cute, but now seems to indicate that the people working there may not have been taking proper precautions to avoid contamination or keep things clean. Overall, it was a pretty gross experience, Kevin.
The best tacos in Minneapolis! I recommend trying the pastor or asada tacos for a truly authentic experience. The staff is also fun and friendly. Overall rating for the food: 5 out of 5.
