The Loon Cafe - Minneapolis

Stopped here for a quick bite before a Twins game. The food was fine. Try the Grape Ape! Our server was nice, but kind of a mess. It's a fun place with a good menu.

We have dined at this restaurant several times and they have never let us down!! The location is great and the atmosphere is fun. I really enjoy their chili. My go-to order is the Pecos chili, medium spice level. It has just the right amount of kick. The staff is always friendly!

There is nothing more to add to the many praises already given to this establishment. The Loon is a beloved staple of Minneapolis, and a personal favorite of mine in the downtown area. I recently dined there and was pleased to find that the service was still top-notch; the staff was quick and entertaining. Their variety of chili options is all delicious. For a fun time, the Loon is the perfect spot, known for their signature Grape Ape cocktail. It's an ideal place for a pre- or post-Vikings game drink, or any time really.

Upon entering the restaurant, it may seem a bit crowded, but don't be fooled - the place is actually much larger than it appears from the outside. It gets quite busy on game days, but they do a fantastic job of seating customers promptly. Despite the server being in high demand, she still managed to check in on us regularly. The grape apes are a must-try when visiting on game days. I have enjoyed their chili in the past, and this time I tried the chicken tacos which were also quite good. My son found the buffalo chicken wrap to be satisfactory, and the fries were just average.
