Ordered online but they said they dont have access to online orders without the boss. then had to go in to order again but had to repeat 3 times. definitely wont come again
Food and service was great. Clean small town style country diner. Would definitely recommend.
Ordered the banquetburger, Pommes and Cherry Shake. The Shake was delicious. but not as thick as I started. It was easy to drink right through the straw. The Shake I 'd give a 3.5 out of 5 for taste and mouthfeel. For the banquet burger I was pleasantly surprised by the bacon and the skill of the burger. The bacon looked like he was precooked in the oven to stay flat and overhang the burger. The meat was a beautiful size to cook 5 ounces, and although there was no pinkness in the meat, it was juicy. ( Probably used a cover on the grilltop with water to steam it and melt the cheese. Burger I'd give a solid 4 out of 5. Fries were well cooked, crunchy factor well, and a nice portion size. Fries a 3.5 out of 5. My only problem is that in most factories here in Manitoba, no malt vinegar, only white vinegar. U put a bottle of vinegar behind the meal to show scale. Otherwise, the overall experience was nice, great staff with a beautiful charming decor. A total of 3.7 out of 5. I'll be back to try more articles. Child-friendly: There is a children's menu with 5 or 6 choices. Parking: Good ample parking spaces on the outskirts.
Was in town for a few days in the complex and ate here every day. The owner is east Indian, so I usually stuck to the part of the menu as I thought it was his wheelhouse. I tried the dal makhani, Chana masala, and murmel washer and all were absolutely delicious. If you want spicy, make sure to ask for the hot sauce, it does and add it a little at a time, it is intense. The Naanbrot was always perfect as well as with crispy, soft, perfect for diving. I also tried the roasted chicken dinner with soup, mash, veg, Koleslaw and Gravy. The chicken on its own was nothing special, a tad blande, but was properly cooked; crispy, fresh and hot. The engraving was delicious and def homemade tasted the chicken on a notch. The Turkish barley soup was a house hat and tasted as good as any of my mother. Mash and Veg, simple but perfectly cooked and the Koleslaw was also great. Finally the cake. Man, the cake is so good. Freshly made and it shows. I ordered the cherry cake (one full) after I tried my colleagues. Not too sweet, great crust, a little dry. Obviously it is heated and a little vanilla ice cream added, it takes over the top. The owner is a really nice guy and seems to enjoy what he does, staff also beautiful. Defend when you're around this little town.
