Island Tings - Miramar

I was okay with my experience, but it didn't have the Caribbean flavors I’m accustomed to. My rucksalmon was quite salty, and the rice lacked any flavor to balance it out. I ended up mixing the salmon with the rice, which made it a bit more tolerable, but it was still salty. The cauliflower had absolutely no flavor, which was disappointing since it’s usually my favorite side dish at Jamaican restaurants. This place seems to be a far cry from what I expect.

They serve generous portions, and the food is delicious! We ordered two smoked chicken platters and two sides of mac and cheese, and we ended up with so much food that we have enough for an extra meal, with leftovers to spare! Everything was incredibly flavorful, and we can't wait to enjoy it again tomorrow.

--- I was really looking forward to the meal, but I was disappointed. I specifically ordered the corpse (which seems to refer to a dish), and they forgot it entirely! I was never given a chance to choose the white rice either, despite mentioning it. I'm really frustrated because it seems like they don't pay attention to their jobs. This is the last time I'm visiting because it's just too ridiculous. I can't remember what I drank, but I can definitely recall the two terrible bits of the dish. --- Let me know if you'd like any adjustments!

The first time that island tings and everything were great! I ordered the jerk, baptize boiled rice and mac. everything was particularly delicious with the ochsenschwein and very large portions they fill. personal was also very friendly so that I definitely back

Rice and gravy really good on jerk chicken and seasoning nice but meat was a bit pink
