Bamboo Legend - Mississauga

We used to go there 4-5 years ago and then stopped as we found better Thai restaurants in the area. Tonight we decided to give it a try and see if we can get a decent Thai meal there, and were very disappointed. The spring rolls were ok, but the chicken satay was awful, sitting in a bitter yellow sauce....even the dipping sauces were not very good. The chicken cashew was ok, but very little chicken....however the green curry chicken was more like a soup. The gravy was actually more like a broth, not great when you put it on your plate and it "drowns" everything.....The pineapple fried rice was decent, but overall the quality and taste of the food was just sub-standard. Service was good and friendly....

This place is so friendly, clean and inviting. While this time I go takeout, spicy, basil beef, chicken pad Thai and a vegetable fresh roll, they also have many great eat in lunch options for only $10.00. They come with a soup or salad. Great value

So glad to have found this place, especially since it is owned by the former owner of Thai by The Lake (our favourite Thai place). Drove down from Barrie and it was as delicious as every. Matt loved his authentic pad Thai and my curry with tofu and veg was spectacular. More than enough to take home and again another day (ok later that night). Our goto place whenever we are in Mississauga from here on out.

Family run and all the dishes served was hot tasty and well balanced in its spices. From apps to tea well timed to our table and lots of food for the price

A hidden gem. Very authentic and service was superb! Must try their Mango salad... Best I've had in Mississauga.
