China Palace - Mississauga

The food is always good. Eating at the restaurant can be scary when you go for the first time I have been going there for years for my hakka fix.

I had the honey garlic chicken with white rice and thought it was very flavorful. The portion size was very generous.

The China palace fried rice is amazing and I always get their large party trays; the quantity is enough for 10 people when served with chilli paneer and Hakka noodles. The Price is reasonable too for the given quantity. while the restaurant itself looks dated their taste is great!

I had low expectations during a visit here for a business lunch and was pleasantly surprised. The food was quite tasty and reasonably priced at lunch. The best? No. But worthy of a visit.

Occupying an old Pizza Hut location near Goreway & Derry, China Palace is a favourite of mine. The decor could be better. The service is decent. Not quite friendly, but attentive.But the food is ALWAYS consistent and very good. My absolute favourite dish is their Crispy Ginger Beef. It's perfect! Crunchy, Spicy (Ginger), and Sweet (Honey) served with steamed white rice. They also do a very decent egg fried rice. Though some may find their rice a bit on the greasy side. It's at least flavourful and they don't skimp on ingredients.I used to live nearby. But unfortunately I now live quite far off. But I still have to make the trek every now and then.
