Great place for dim sum - food is brought out on trolleys and you pick whatever your table wants to eat. This place is very busy and noisy - but everything seems to roll along smoothly.
Not your budget Chinese Restaurant Experience.Space is ridiculously large. Expect to share a large, round table with strangers if you're a party of two and endure the noise of a wide open football field...no ambience here.Food is average and overpriced.Dim sum carts are the fun part... you can see what the food looks like, if you're experimenting.
A very mediocre spot, decent enough by Sauga standards. Their dinner portions are large and good value, though not especially good. Have a tendency to overseason their food.
We dined at the Emerald Restaurant on the recommendation of a friend who drives more than hour to get there. This was particularly appealing since so many Asian restaurants serve Thai or Vietnamese (not Chinese) cuisine. The menu was typically several pages long, but we zeroed in on the huge 2-bite breaded oysters,10 pieces for $22. These were as good as ones we had had in New Orleans and in a French restaurant in Europe. Definitely worth the trip to Mississauga.
