Jack Astor's - Mississauga

I end up going to Jack Astor's with my customers a lot. Always great service and definitely never disappointed with their food. From amazing salads to very tasty burgers. Great place to bring friends, family and yes Clients!

Melissa served our family tonight and was genuine with ensuring we were happy. My wife and I wanted to split our dinners and she made sure it wasn't difficult by actually splitting the dinners in half for each of us. Burger was fantastic and the Cobb Salad was very tasty. Check#: 1324988.

3 of us came in after our daughter's ball game around 9:30pm on a Saturday night. We were greeted warmly and seated right away. Our server Nicole came to our table almost right away welcomed us, saw our daughter's ball uniform and asked about our day. Really authentic and genuinely friendly. She took our drink orders and they arrived quickly after we ordered them. She returned for our food order, we ordered chicken fingers, chicken fajitas and the sesame chicken noodle bowl. We didn't have to wait very long to have them delivered. Everything we ordered was cooked and presented well. We were all happy with the quality and taste of our food. The great service we received from Nicole made everything even better. We had an excellent experience and will return if we are in the area again

The reservation- did not have our reservation that was booked on Open Table, confirmed by the host of Jack Astor's earlier in the day and confirmed via email Therefore our party of 8 had to sit in the bar, (very noisy) the host said "You'll have great service" Well wasn't that an understatement.She was more interested in gazing at some male chef that passed by then to try to help resolve the reservation issue. The Bar-- Initial drink orders took over 10 minutes, we had to track her down then to find she would only give us time to order for one person then disappear. The Food--The main courses were ok, the nachos looked like the restaurant was on rations and one of our guests received their salad 45 minutes before their main course

The food & service is typical of a chain restaurant. The quality is decent and the service is decent but not very good or excellent. A good place to have an average meal in an average environment. Nothing wrong BUT Average !!
