Osmow's Modern Mediterranean

Used to love Osmows for their food. But nowadays they reduce the quantity and sauces as well.If we are paying an extra amount for Philly Chicken then they should provide enough sauce to make it what it tastes like.Very unsatisfied with recent few experiences

I 'm not the kind of person who usually leaves poor reviews but for the first time, I feel I should warn others in case it helps them avoid the experience I had.I 've been a fan of Osmow 's for years first at a location on Lakeshore and over the last couple of years I 've been going to this location as it 's close by. But something has changed.A couple of weeks ago on Canada day we walked to the location and ordered two chicken shawarmas in a pita both with the works but one was to be medium spicy, the other extra hot.At the cash register it was displayed correctly on the screen and when we were given the wraps I asked the cook for confirmation that one was medium spice when he called for us and only said extra hot . His reaction did make me wonder because it wasn 't an immediate yes . Then he took the two wraps bagged them and wrote Medium on one of them.My wife and both come from backgrounds that eat very spicy foods. But these were beyond any level of spice we 've had there before. Perhaps one of them could have been said to be extra hot but there was certainly no medium. It was no pleasure eating them but more like a challenge from Fear Factor.Even after years of really enjoying Osmow 's and how close this location is to where I live, I 'm so turned off from this experience and having seemingly been lied to, that I don 't plan on going back to this location again.

I ordered Beyond Meat and they sent me Beyond Steak. Note: the Beyond Steak is absolutely DISGUSTING, I do not recommend.

This Osmow's is definitely better than others. I personally stopped liking Osmow's since my last experience that I had at the Dixie location and also the lakeshore location, however, the square one location isn't as bad as the others. This location actually reminds me of when lakeshore one used to be good. They won me back as a customer. Highly recommend those to try beef instead of chicken. I feel like the beef is fresher than the chicken at night and has more flavor to it.

I went to get 3 large lunches today knowing that my son and daughter were feeling hungry and usually service is quick there.After bringing home the food I realize the quality was not the same. I may have been there a month or 2 ago. My daughter mentioned the same to me with the fall off in quality. Thinking back I realized that it appears to be new staff there. Was the business sold? If so, there does not seem to be any knowledge transfer from the previous owners.
