My go-to choice is the baked chicken spaghetti with tomato sauce—it never disappoints. The food here is consistently fantastic. The service is similar to what you'd find at any Chinese restaurant, so keep your expectations in check. The atmosphere is nothing special, but the happy hour specials make up for it. From 3 pm to 6 pm and again after 9 pm, they offer a selection of dishes for $6-7, all of which come with a Hong Kong-style milk tea. My boyfriend and I always make sure to visit during happy hour, and we always leave satisfied. The restaurant is usually quite busy, but the staff is efficient and friendly.
I was initially skeptical when I entered the restaurant as it appeared run-down. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the great service from the young waitress who was very sweet. Our food arrived promptly and tasted delicious. I was particularly impressed by the Szechuan beef, which was incredibly tender and melted in my mouth. Despite the annoying buzzer or beep when food was ready, I will not hesitate to visit this restaurant again.
The restaurant offers delicious HK style cuisine at affordable prices. The decor is unattractive, but the food is reminiscent of the dishes I grew up eating. The prices are unbeatable, especially considering that my baked rice meal came with a soup and a drink. I appreciate that they offer free delivery with a $20 purchase. The outdated decor is a drawback, but I believe this place has the potential to be even better if they update it.
My Fav Dish.... Love the beef tongue with spaghetti!!!
Fantastic Take Out!. I have been ordering from the Phoenix for over 10 years, I have never had a complaint about the food or the service. I am a creature of habit so I can definately recommend the Orange Beef, Sweet and Sour Pork Cantonese Style and Chicken Fried Rice. Fantastic Portion sizes and you get an amazing meal.
