This restaurant offers big portions of chicken and excellent service. Comfortable seating. Highly recommended!

The roasted chicken at this restaurant is delicious, served with beautiful French fries. I tried the 8-piece meal for $30 and it was a good lunch option, with very delicate and tasty bread.

This restaurant has it all - excellent food and service! The owner is welcoming and ensures the same level of hospitality from their staff. This is not your average fast food joint. The restrooms are also very clean.

We've known for months that there's a Popeyes store in the just built Trinity District on Lakeview along Lakeshore Rd E. But when? It's been two weeks since we saw little orange lawn signs saying "Popeyes now open" in the neighborhood when we decided to try. We went to their spanning new restaurant entrance located on the back of the building), approached the counter and ordered a 12-piece family meal $36.99) for departure. We paid and after a short waiting period our number was called and we went with our order. We've never eaten Popeyes and could only compare it with KFC. We found Popeyes chicken crispy outside and oily inside. I thought mild meant a touch of spices, but maybe it was normal because there was absolutely no heat that was good with us. The two big pages we ordered, potatoes and cakes, were good. It wasn't until later when I broke the receipt that I was missing something. The 12-piece family meal comprises 2 large sides AND 6 cookies. We checked the boxes twice, maybe it was filled with chicken or pommes, but no, no biscuit in sight. I wasn't happy at this point. I found the numbers of the store from the menu flyer that was handed over to us earlier, and called. The person on the other line apologized for the decay and said that next time we come and say we don't get the cookies. He didn't give me his name, I guess that meant we could just talk to someone on the counter and explain the mess. Although a solution was offered, I was still offset by the fact that our takeover order was handed over to us incompletely. The restaurant was not busy at the time, in fact from the time we arrived until we left, they prepared only one order, ours. The next day we went back to get our cookies. Well, that the manager was there, it turns out that he was the one I spoke to on the phone) because the counter staff had no idea what to do with my concern. While we waited, I also bought Cajun gravy reg $1.99) and after the payment I caught an error on the reception that the manager fixes again). The crew members seemed like newcomers, so I chalk these Hiccups as part of the learning curve. Hopefully no mistakes next time, although we don't have any plans to return anytime soon. Popeyes Lakeshore Cawthra is open 7 days a week from 11AM to 11PM. Seat for 35 persons: a number of plastic cabins on each side of the dining area, 6 bar stools around semi-circular counter table behind the spice area. Two separate unisex washrooms on the back, one accessible. Free parking.
