Second Cup - Mississauga

Small, yet cozy coffee shop located in the heart of Streetsville. It had been a while since my last visit, but coming back brought back fond memories.

I enjoyed the cozy atmosphere of the small seating area at this restaurant. I ordered a medium roast coffee, which was nice and refreshing. I like this place, but I wish they had more variety of cakes on their menu.

I typically go to Starbucks and Tim Hortons, but I recently decided to give Second Cup a try. I remember visiting the Hamilton location as a child and wanted to experience it again as an adult.

Not as crowded as the Timmy’s around the corner so service was fast. My wife was in the hospital for a couple of weeks and I think the Vanilla latte I took to her each day kept her sane. The pastries and cakes were good as well but then competing with hospital food is not a big challenge. The only coffee she got, for two weeks, that was still hot when she got it was the Second Cup Latte.The variety is not what it is at Tim Horton’s but the quality is every bit as good. Service was friendly and quick and after the first week one server knew what I was going to order.

We stopped in at this Second Cup on our way to Credit Valley Hospital the other day. I haven't been to a Second Cup for some time but when I did go more frequently I typically ordered a Chai Tea Latte and that's what I got and now I remember why. The tea has a wonderful flavour and this place prepared it right and fast. Add your favourite baked snack and your good to go. I don't know when I will be back in this area but I will make a point of stopping in at Second Cup.
