Capone's Pizza - Missoula

Honestly pizza has to be amazing for me to want it… this place was that. I had a large kale salad and a slice of cheese pizza. Seriously wanted to order another slice for the road! Go here!

This is some good pizza. Amazing topping options, big slices, pillowy crust. They also have a great to-go drink section (beer and non-alcoholic).

I gave 4 stars because I 'm not a huge fan of their pizza...at least 'by the slice ' as it 's usually dried out. BUT their salads are amazing! Specifically, I love the Caesar salad with crispy chicken and the big chunks of sliced parmesan that they use. I also love their croutons! They now have the option to order online and you can build your meal to preference (ie. light on the lettace, heavy on the meat, extra pine nuts). Another reason for 4 stars is because they don 't have a naturally sweetened sparkling water option...like Bubly, LaCroix or Aha.

This is a charming little pizza spot. They offer a variety of pizzas by the slice as well as whole pies. While their draft beer selection is somewhat limited, it features all local craft brews. I tried their Maibock, which had a wonderful flavor that became even more pronounced as it warmed up, with notable hops. The prices are quite reasonable, and I was very happy with my slice topped with artichoke, red onion, mushroom, and white sauce. The dough had excellent flavor and texture, and even though the pizza might have been sitting out for a short time, it remained fresh and delicious. Whether you're dining in or taking it to go, ordering by the slice is quick and definitely worth it. The woman who took my order was polite and friendly, and I can imagine the rest of the small staff is just as nice, even though I didn’t interact with them. I would highly recommend this place. Additionally, the bathrooms are clean and well-maintained; I appreciated the hand towels and the slow-closing trash bins. The locks on the all-gender restroom doors clearly indicate whether each room is occupied. They also have a wide selection of beverages available in glass refrigerators near the counter.

The pizza was amazing, though a bit on the expensive side for just one slice. Overall, the food was excellent and definitely worth a visit.
