I literally leave the least amount of stars because this was the worst car-dru coffee experience I had when I could leave zero stars. I've been working in customer service for sixteen years, I'm going to put up with pretty terrible customer service because I understand that things happen. But this morning, 8/18/21 at 7:59, we moved to the Liquid Planet Drive thru. We left this trip at 8:14. The barista working, shaved hair all the way around with the exception of a long blonde ponytail, addressed us once, took a drink from our order then away. I've been a barista for years, and this barista lasted nine minutes to make my friend? a mocha with oxidized shots, steamed and then left to sit milk while the barista easily messed with the truck on the other window and make her two drinks within the nine minutes of ours. The Barista then answered her personal phone, the processing to the call with ?oh, I'm just a little busy and then continue the call for another full minute before they said they would call her back. They disappeared again to finish the other window transaction that started after ours, then the one mocha we created left out before coming back to the window to talk to us for the first time since we ordered and asked if we wanted something else. To round it off, the Mocha was absolutely disgusting. I could no longer sound Karen in this review, but I worked for years customer service and coffee service. Nine minutes, this is not the time of actual ?interaction?, is an ineffective time to make a very evil drink. That was not short staff, overwhelmed, rushed, poor single shift barista. Every single liquid planet in the city we? ve went to and consistently received mixed bags of bad coffee, good service bad coffee, and bad service! We don't want to try it again. I don't want anything free or anything from this coffee stand. That was probably one of Worst Drive thru and all the coffee experiences I've ever had. The friend took his coffee and we went to City Brew. That was just unprofessional, unhappy and honest? I wish we were just gone. It wasn't worth paying or typing.
I come here several times a month, I get the same drink every time and had amazing service?.up to today. The blonde who worked the AM shift today was rude, on her phone, didn't want to make my drink and then made it wrong. Absolutely rude and felt like I was wasted her time. When I asked her about it, she took the attitude and gave me the ?bye Lynda behavior. If she goes forward, you don't get my money. Keasha and the rest of the staff were 5?? And further! 7.29.2021 7:00. They don't wear name tags, so not really safe on the name
I ordered a cloud nine hot coca and they gave me watery mocha instead. They weren?t very nice to me either. As someone who has worked in food service and retail, for nearly a decade. It?s the least you can do to listen to your customer. I love love LOVE all the other LP locations. This one just pales in comparison.
I ordered an iced drink but received it hot instead. I wasn't asked about my preference. The blonde barista seemed more interested in arguing than simply remaking it. After splashing the second drink across the counter, I actually ended up enjoying it a lot. That’s all!
We entered the Liquid Planet drive-thru and didn’t leave until 8:14 AM. The barista, who had short hair with a long blonde ponytail, only addressed us once during our time in line. She took one drink from our order and then disappeared. I used to work as a barista myself, and it took her nine minutes to prepare a mocha for my friend using oxidized milk that had been steamed and left to sit. Meanwhile, she easily managed to serve the customers in the truck at the other window and made their two drinks within that same time frame. To make matters worse, she answered her personal phone mid-service, saying, "Oh, I'm just a little busy," and continued her conversation for a full minute before stating she would call back. After disappearing to serve the other window again, she finally returned to us—her first communication since we ordered—to ask if we wanted anything else. The mocha itself was absolutely awful. I don't want to come off as overly critical, but given my background in customer service and coffee, I know that nine minutes of inactivity followed by a poorly made drink is unacceptable. This experience wasn’t due to a busy or overwhelmed barista; it felt like a lack of professionalism. Every Liquid Planet we've visited in the city has left us with inconsistent experiences—sometimes bad coffee with good service, other times the opposite. This time, we left feeling that we never want to try it again. We didn’t ask for anything for free; we just felt it was one of the worst drive-thru coffee experiences we've ever had. My friend ended up discarding his drink, and we went to City Brew instead. Overall, it was unprofessional, disappointing, and not worth the money or the time we spent there.
