Frederick Lounge “the Fred”

The only good place to eat in town. Not a 5 star but drinks are fabulous and two evenings of dining didn’t disappoint. Love the lounge, outdoor seating and fresh drink ingredients.

Very much over priced food.If I’m going to pay a premium price it would be nice to get good food… not the case here.

I want the Fred to succeed; we need a nice restaurant in town!! But alas, the food is not what it should be Caesar salad was served warm with too much fishy taste in dressing, and I asked for half the dressing amount and this request was ignored. There are no hot weather menu options and the dining room is under air conditioned. You could use some cold sandwiches. Also some food with a lighter touch a veggie sandwich, chicken piccata, etc. rather than heavy meals.

I had high hopes for a boutique style historic hotel. But it seemed they had scrimped on the grab and go breakfast, banana, granola bar, no coffee in room. Room ok, small TV about 10 feet up on the wall. 1 very small bar of soap provided, chose the more expensive room with a view of the park. Nothing to do within walking distance. Great service and unique food! A nice change of pace. The setting and the food were both outstanding!
