New China Star - Missouri

Today, I was craving General Tao's Chicken, badly. I wanted the kind you normally get in a Chinese restaurant, not the version I was served the last time I ordered it. At New China Star, I got the General Tao's Chicken lunch special. The service was quick and friendly. Price was very reasonable. The entrée came with all the sides I selected, and a drink. If I could give zero stars I would. Found a finger nail in my vegetable fried rice!! Completely disgusted!

Tried New China Star because my regular place wasn't open. We used to order from them often but we moved up towards Barry Rd. Not only did they deliver but prices were still good, the food was hot and amazing (and that's a lot coming from me in regards to Chinese food) We ordered spring rolls. cran rangoon, Springfield cashew chicken, vegetable lo mein, and princess chicken. Ordering online was fast and simple. Congrats, I'm breaking up with my regular place and coming back to you.

By far the best Orange chicken I’ve had in any Chinese restaurant in Kansas City. Not very often you find orange chicken with actual orange peels in the sauce. Amazing flavor and friendly staff. Highly recommend
