Salt Smoke - Missouri

Atmosphere was LOUD, had to yell to be heard, service was slow, they were out of menue items well before closing time, the table was tiny, and they don't support the constitution or the 2nd amendment. The only reason we ate here was better places were closed. The ribs were the highlight and cooked to perfection.

Tight and busy on a Friday night, but wouldn't expect less from a good restaurant. Large menu featuring smoked meats like brisket and ribs. Sides were delicious and they had a pretty large beer selection. They also offer several dessert options including craft made ice creams. Enjoyed the brisket very much- some of the best I had in MO.

Delicious!! We were in STL for a show and I'm always looking for good food, I definitely found it here! The deviled egg was perfectly smooth and the pimento cheese was a nice touch. My husband and daughter got the pulled pork sandwich. Both raved about its tastiness. The smoke flavor was very forward, a hit! The creamed corn and the pit beans were good. But the most important part of this meal is the Mac and cheese… To die for! I would go back and just order 2 sides of the Mac and cheese. Go n … – show

The atmosphere is pretty dope and the staff were all very friendly. The fries were seasoned well but the meat was TRASH. The brisket was almost entirely fat and the rib tips were way over done and some were so burnt to the point of being EXTREMELY hard (no, it wasn't the bone). Sauce was ok. As much as I wanted to like this place, I would not go back unfortunately.
