Perkins Bakery - Mitchell

Perkins used to be our go-to road trip restaurant... reliable, nice menu, OK service, tasty food. No longer. Took them 30 to set up a table for 7, despite no other customers waiting. Out of many menu items. Our granddaughter 's mac 'n cheese had a nasty sour aftertaste, almost like it had gone bad. My turkey dinner was inedible. Turkey luncheon meat with an iridescent sheen and dry gray edges, atop a serving of yellowish dressing that had a strongly metallic aftertaste. Side of cold Mashed potatoes. All covered with a gluey glop of shoe-brown matter that was supposed to be gravy. The waitress kept apologizing for the cook, who she said was new and struggling. Two menu items taken off our bill, but it still came to a bit over $90. Cashier asked how our meal was, and winced when we told him what it was like. He, too, said, the cook was new and that they had been fielding complaints all day. Disgusting. We will never go to another Perkins. Awful!!!

Clean, super friendly. Food was delicious, even the grandkids cleaned their plates. Need a bite to eat after visiting the Famous Corn Palace ? Be sure to stop in and enjoy a wonderful meal.

My girlfriend and I ordered an appetizer and breakfast. We didn’t get our appetizer at all and when we got our main course the waiter forgot to give us silverware. We asked for some and syrup. He proceeded to forget us entirely and the table next to us gave us their unused silverware after watching us stare at our food. I finally had to flag the waiter down when he was around us after 5 to 10 minutes of looking at our food. Was a bad experience.

Called and ordered two magnificent seven after this we will never go back. Food was cold syrup all over the bag. Called and asked for the manager being given the third degree just because we asked for the manager. Never will go back again very poor visit. The man answering the phone is very rude.

They needed more assistance from the staff more people willing to help, our waitress was very nice. Food was good. Probably won't go back. One time stop.
