Gasthof Stern - Mittenwald

We stayed in innsbruck for a holiday and drove comfortably to the middle of the forest for lunch. a beautiful village that corresponds to every online description. we decided to try gasthof star and as soon as we went, we were satisfied. a very pleasant...Bavarian decor and great selection to be suitable. we had the Sunday special that was as good as any German grandmother could do. roast pork, teigbälle, delicious gravy and health salad. the apfelstreudel for dessert was good as you could find. all in all an excellent choice.

Really good food and local beer served in an in-house with views of the mountains. the brittle wine looked brilliant, and the carving was great. Note that they are closing for eating between 1430 and 1700 ish we seem caught on our...return trip!

A beautiful and cozy place. beautiful breakfast and nice staff. the only part is that the road outside makes a lot of noise! otherwise

Absolutely the best pork i have ever tried! almost no fat, only yummi pork. cozy beer garden, served local beer from the small mid forest brewery. personal super!

One of those lovely old Gasthofs; really nice atmosphere and a warm welcome from the friendly staff. Good menu with plenty of choice, and weekly seasonal specials. The grilled pork was so tender and perfectly cooked; the lamb was also melt in the mouth. Just...what you need on a grey, drizzling autumn day. Will definitely come back.
