Wein Stadl - Mittenwald

Gleich in der Nähe der Kirche,... einfach super zum Verweilen um zum Beispiel einen Tollen Expresso zu trinken, oder einen Superwein. Weine auch zum Mitnehmen.

We only stopped for a beer but there were twelve of them so if you are a beer fan I would really recommend the place as they are real masters of it, great staff and lovely old building.

We had been walking about this charming town, and out in the countryside nearby, and this place had tables outside, bathed in sunshine despite it being December and very chilly in the shade. Food looked lovely but we only had cake - cheesecake, to be precise, and to share, as portions are beyond generous. I had hot gluwein, excellent! My friend had a hot chocolate. It's in fact a wine shop, with a cafe on the side. Home made cakes were gorgeous and it was a tough choice to pick just one. We bathed in sunshine, jackets off, until the sun dropped behind the mountains. Gorgeous.

This a café which is in part of a wine shop. There is a good choice of hot and cold drinks and a fantastic selection of home made cakes hot or cold. The staff are very friendly and helpful and serve in both shop and café. It is positioned on the corner of the street and faces the lovely town main church. Well worth a stop and try.
