I only ate the restaurant, Corner 251. Firstly, I showed up 30 minutes before the kitchen closed. I went to the bar and asked if they were still open, Shelley, said of course- so I asked for a menu. I had been to multiple places prior looking for vegan and gluten-free options, to no avail. When I explained my dietary restrictions, she went through the menu with me and we found something. This was a very low pressure situation. There were noodles they could sub out to make the dish gluten-free (made from edamame) Amazing! The only other augmentation was to omit the dairy, in the form of cheese. The sauce was pesto and it was exactly what I needed. Thank you Shelley and Corner 251 for accommodating me during my short stay in Mobile. Much Love, Chris O .
The food was amazing. The place wasn’t packed which made the night pretty chill. The staff was very friendly too. I’m glad I tried this place. Will be back.Parking: Great parking
Excellent service and fantastic food! The shrimp and grits are off the chain! Best I’ve ever experienced, and trust me on this, I’m a southerner who knows what shrimp and grits should be. The chef hits a home run with it. The food here is worth a trip to Mobile.
A winner ! At the corner of Government and Joachim and attached to the cool Admiral Hotel, Corner 251 has created an impressive and unexpected delight. Good strong coffee and home made muffins and scones in the morning to begin your Mobile day. And you must experience a terrific palate pleasing **** Mary, absolutely one of the best! The club sandwich and kettle chips for a snack or light lunch won me over. The lovely Brianna and handsome Harry will both charm you and take good care of you. Corner 251 is must visit. Keep up the good work.
