Eddies Mexican And Honduran Food

Once again I had no idea what I wanted to eat for dinner. I didn't want the regular burger or chicken fingers. There had to be something else I could try. I decided to get take out from Eddies Mexican and Honduran Restaurant.The main reason I decided on this place was I wanted to try Honduran food. As I went down the menu I noticed that many of the Honduran dishes had eggs in them. I settled on Cena Isla De La Bahia. Not sure why that dish caught my interest but it stuck. On the menu I saw that the meal consisted of: beans, eggs, grilled steak, chorizo, avocado, chimol, plantain slices, cabbage, salsa, cheese and cream. Although the meal was delicious I didn't get a some of those things. I never got chorizo, cabbage, or salsa. I thought maybe they exchanged the cabbage for lettuce and tomatoes because that is what I got. Aside from that, the meal good. The steak and eggs were a great combination together. Also the cream cheese that came with it added a different but welcomed taste. Maybe if I had received what was specified on the menu I could've given it a 5 star rating. This eating experience was a good one despite that.

First time eating at Eddies but will definitely come back. Great waiter who described all the dishes we had questions about. Food was delicious and service was amazing. The Honduran chicken was so good. We will definitely back!

Chips were stale and the food just tasted like it was microwaved and cheap and cold. Server also didn’t listen to me and I knew he was gonna get the order wrong and it came out exactly how I knew it would be: wrong.

The food was delicious and the waitress was very friendly and provided great service. She brought us the special Eddie's Salsa which was very good. We preferred it over the regular salsa. Ambience was typical Mexican restaurant. Was clean and not noisy.
