Instead, the gyros were served from a metal holding tin that had about a quarter of grease at the bottom. I was also drawn in by their claim of fresh cut fries, one of my absolute favorites, but to my dismay, I was served regular, bland frozen fries. The staff mentioned that they no longer offer fresh-cut options. Overall, there's really nothing special about this place. I was quite disappointed that they don't slice the gyros fresh; every mom-and-pop gyros restaurant I’ve ever visited has had a gyros spit. I should have left when I saw that, but I foolishly chose to stay. I won’t be returning. I can't help but wonder if Marcus Lemonis is still involved with the business. If he is, he should be embarrassed, as this is a far cry from what was presented on the TV show The Profit.
One of my favorite healthy spots! The portions are generous, and Sharon was very knowledgeable about the menu. The jalapeño hummus, in particular, wasn’t spicy but had a lovely flavor and a nice kick to it. Everything is made from fresh ingredients. I even had leftovers to take home! Overall, the food deserves a 5/5!
The food was enjoyable overall. However, I found the hummus to be somewhat bland for my liking—it could definitely use a bit of salt, along with some lemon and garlic, and perhaps a touch more tahini. That said, it might be just right for some diners as it is. The service was good as well; the staff in the kitchen were excellent. Unfortunately, one of the individuals who appeared to be in a management position was a bit rude.
First time visit and I was disappointed with the Gyro. I've always had authentic gyros where the meat is sliced off the rotisserie/spit. Never have I been served ground hamburger meat on a pita, but that's how they do it at Simple Greek. The second best part of a gyro is the yogurt/cucumber sauce. They were stingy with it. And, sadly, the pita bread itself was stale, the edges were hard. Not a total loss. I enjoyed the hummus, spinach pie and baklava. But those are items not made there.
The food was good but it was insanely expensive for what I got. The woman who served me was very nice and patient with me. The man, who i assume was the owner or manager, was very rude and unwelcoming. The food was overpriced expensive but good, the service from the employees was excellent. There are just better options at this price point and with the way I was treated by the gm owner.Vegetarian options: Plenty of them. The falafel was great and not too spicy.
