For today 's Pentecost Sunday we had reserved lunch for five people. After our hike, that would have been the crowning glory,...also because we would have offered a surprise to the visitors! This came in a negative way, as we were standing in front of closed doors ...closed until further notice due to staff shortages... ... can happen ... However, it made us angry that we were not informed of this fact in advance, especially since we had given our telephone number! Luckily (unfortunately) we were treated lovingly by the neighboring competition. Conclusion: Now we know exactly if it should ever open again where we will NOT stop in the future!

We ate at the green tree on Sunday April 16, 2023. It was the worst service I've ever had in a restaurant. My salmon was still half raw, the fried potatoes were a total mess, the salad had no dressing and the whole thing was totally overpriced. Some of the people in our group had already eaten, the others hadn't even had their drink yet. With still water you got an open bottle without a label for 5 euros, you can imagine what kind of water it was.

Price/performance ratio is not right! Small portions, high price, spotty tablecloths, cheap breakfast baking rolls and cut open and undefined meat pugs at the Lützelburger, fat almost black roast potatoes, service is loudly equipped with kitchen staff, so everything is not recommended! Pearl in the Odenwald: We stayed on a Sunday for lunch, due to the bad weather, the restaurant was not visited. The service was extremely friendly and accommodating. My wife had a wide range of vegan and vegetarian dishes, especially leaks was the Red Beete Carpaccio. I had a fried trout with roast potatoes. To dessert there was a very tasty homemade cake. All dishes were very delicious. You realize that's freshly cooked here! In total, a successful change from the other one in the area. Also the ambience at the fireplace was very cozy we like to come back!
