The Coffee Club - MODBURY

Yesterday, my friend and I went to The Coffee Club at Tea Tree Plaza for lunch. We both decided to try the roasted vegetable and feta flat grill as it seemed healthy and intriguing. Unfortunately, we were disappointed to find that it was quite flat and lacked a sufficient amount of vegetables. There was only one olive in it, cut in half. The dish looked nothing like it did in the picture on the menu. Furthermore, the menu showed three triangle pieces, but we only received two each. This was our first time eating at the restaurant, as we have only had coffee there before. After this experience, we will not be returning to eat there again.

Coffee is horrible, and staff are too busy eating whilst making coffee and talking to one another to even bother brining you food and drinks over to the table. Really disappointing that I had to stop feeding my baby to get up and grab my coffee as three of the staff stood and watched…

Very expensive for what you get, staff not that friendly, seating a bit to close. could be better managed

I ordered a Whiting fillet and salad without lemon or tomatoes, both of which were listed on the menu. My hamburger was completely wrong - no cheese as requested, and I didn't want the salad or sauce but received them anyway. I was very disappointed with the service as the wait was 35 minutes for one meal and 45 minutes for the other. My wife had already finished her meal by the time I received mine. Overall, I was very unhappy with the experience.

My wife and I decided to give this restaurant a try for lunch. I ordered calamari, but after 20 minutes, a waiter informed me that they had run out. I decided to switch to fish and chips, which was the same price. At that moment, an older man who worked there quickly left for the local grocery store and returned with a package of frozen fish hidden in a plastic bag. I watched as he threw two pieces into the deep fryer, unaware that we were observing. After dealing with the many flies swarming around the dirty tables, we asked for a refund and left. This was the most unclean, disgraceful, and shady restaurant I have ever been to. We will not be returning.
