We'd a wonderful time Booking was very short notice Staff were really accommodating very knowledgeable Food was exceptional Thanks again you really made our evening
Located outside Modena, in a more industrial than entertainment area, this place offers a good selection of wines and beers. While the location might be a drawback, it is excellent for parking, so with a car its an advantage. The chef Stefano who seems to be the owner is innovative, a nice lad who surely has a passion for what he does. Things were left in his hand and we weren't disappointed, he prepared a number of dishes which many of them were compared with balsamic. Things were washed down with sparkling wine followed by a Sangiovese from the region. Stefano is very knowledgeable on wines and beers, having the same passion it was nice chatting with him, he is an asset to the hospitality industry. Highlights of the night was his parmeggiano cream and tortellini in brodo.
This restaurant roughly translates as The Hops Grapes. And yes is the place to find a really good selection of beers and wine for all pockets. It is worth seeking out, although on the outskirts of town just a couple hundred metres from the Verona road. A substantial Greek style salad followed by hand make tortellini with ragu was properly filling. Could have easily stayed to try more beer or perhaps a glass or two of wine, but am supposed to get back to work. Will make an evening visit next time .
Dinner with friends at the gastronomic Thursday event. All very good, excellent lasagnetta di Faraona con salsa al rosmarino e il chenciale al Sorbara con zucca. Nice interior with mezzanine, large and well spaced tables, very kind the boys of the service.
