Silks Restaurant On George - Moe

Came here with family for dinner on recommendations from friends. We were seated rather quickly and brought water straight away. Our waitress was quite mechanical but pleasant all the same. I ordered the chicken schnitzel with chips and gravy,and as it wasn't busy I didn't expect to wait an hour for my meal. When my meal finally did come out , it was well worth the wait and the portion was very generous. I will most likely return for the value for money.

This place is BYO which is OK if you know in advance. The food is average but not expensive. Seems like a great place to hold a birthday or any other occasion where you don't want to spend a bomb. I quite like the place

Reasonable price soup was only warm main smogorsboard bit stingy on the meat the rest was average some of the things the trays were running out and not replenished quickly enough as they are very adamant when you first come in you can only go up once for the main even when some of the trays are empty they would not have got away with this id chicken mick was still alive the place has dropped since he died was much beter when he was alive

We ate in the front section of this place, which has another name, I think. This section is more like a takeaway place with a few tables for eating in.The menu board lists an enormous number of options and everything that was in the baine-maries looked delicious. We couldn't go past the rolls with gravy; one lamb and one pork. Both were huge portions and the meat was tender & tasty. About $7.70 with a drink was great value.If we're ever through Moe again, you can bet we'll be stopping here for more!

The Venue, the parking, the food available was a Smorgasbord and it was great, many varieties were available. Our Son paid for our meals and drinks so I don't know the prices. But altogether we had a great night and enjoyed it all. Best of all, it's easy to find, get to and 7 minutes from our home.
