Food drinks: Hinner inga ord att beskriva hur nöjda var vi. Kocken som lagade detta borde få belöning. Vi har ätit i många restauranger i Sverige samt utomlands men dagens kött var ärlig talat den BÄSTA GODASTE GUDOMLIGT som vi nånsin har smakat i livet hittills. Rent sagt magiskt. We decided to stay at this hotel for a night before our departure in order to relax and unwind. The hotel is located beautifully by a lake. However, in my opinion, that's where the positives end. The rooms are small, even though we didn't choose the smallest one. Additionally, the door in our room was jammed, making it difficult to open and close. If the door wasn't shut properly, it would emit an annoying beeping sound. The biggest issue was the lack of soundproofing in the room. We might not have minded it as much if it weren't for a group hosting a party in one of the hotel rooms, which turned the hotel into a noisy party zone at 2 a.m. There was loud talking, dancing, and the music's bass was so loud that it almost shook us out of bed. People were constantly passing by our room, and with the thin walls, we could hear every step and conversation. It seems like the hotel caters more towards larger groups and events, so I would suggest checking beforehand if there's a party group staying there and exploring other nearby options. Since we were only there for one night, we can't fully assess the service. We were hoping for a peaceful night but ended up having one of our worst nights in the middle of a loud party zone.

Great main house to hang out, chill, and play (billiards, shuffleboard, etc), with free coffee, tea, and cookies. Fantastic secluded location right by the lake with stunning views. Breakfast was excellent and filling. The room was clean and functional. We ended up there after a rainy camper holiday and really enjoyed our stay.

We visited this gorgeous lakeside hotel for their Julbord seating. We have been to a number of Julbords and this one stands out not only do they have excellent versions of the staples, they also served a number of inventive takes. The cold plate course was particularly amazing a wide selection of smoked and cured fish, pickled vegetables, and small bites that left everyone around the table cooing and gasping with praise. The dessert selection was also a delight! This hotel is at the end of a long, rustic road you might wonder if you've gone the wrong way until you suddenly arrive and you'll be treated by expansive and serene lake views during your stay. Highly recommended for a delightful holiday dinner experience!
