Freedom Square Diner - Mohegan Lake

I ate here tonight with a group of friendly staff, very courteous and food was served quickly. A bit expensive for the portions, but otherwise a good meal.

It really makes me crazy when I see that little thoughtful people make comments like those in the previous reviews. I have eaten several times and say there is not a variety telling me that you stay at home and make your own food. And if you have nothing nice to say, you should be honest at least. I work in customer service and I can tell the cops from the truth and you should wear boots if you read these bad comments. They probably tried to get a free meal and got no say because they ate the whole meal and complained about it and how for the prices divided a meal they are enough for two. The service I get is almost always great, because with every restorer no one is perfect, but how many add elements to the menu when you ask them.

The food here is pretty decent, and the coffee is really pretty good. If you go on a weekday morning, they have some nice cheap specials. Service is friendly, but can be slow, especially on weekends and holidays. If you are disturbed by eating near groups of children, don't come here! They're almost all families!

Great breakfast, not yet for other meals. It's very expensive, but you get what you pay...

Fairly typical diner fare but very nice setting. Service can be a bit slow on Sunday mornings. Breakfast is best. Lunch and dinner not good for vegetarians.
