It is not only pecel madiun, but every traditional food served here, call it lodeh, tumpang etc. What is Pecel? Pecel is like salad, but with spicy peanut sausage. The salad contains Indonesian vegetables, perhaps you can only find in Indonesia like Kembang Turi, and typical Indonesian people if they even have to eat vegetables they have to eat rice. Although this is traditional food, you can choose what secondary dish you want, as I saw it Empal Javanese beef steak) salted egg, tradisional fried chicken etc. The price is not expensive at all. If you want to eat Nasi Pecel only 8K Rupiahs less than 1 usd. Wowwww it is very cheap right?? The hotel is located on Jl. Pahlawan no 1, made this restaurant easy to find. Between railway and modern franchise shop and in front of gas station. From Surabay it will be on the left. This restaurant also has public facilities such as Beten Rooms and Toilet. Also a good parking lot. Lack of this place I am not seeing Janitor cleaning this restaurant as you see many Trashes on the floor made of plastic, rest from food to tissue.
It turns out that in this city there are cheap good places to eat. As a lover of raw kitchen I ordered Rohon and Pecel Tumpang (signature bowl) with the fried chicken. I must admit, the blank is amazing, the broth is delicious, but doesn't look oily. The Pecel Tumpang is really beautiful and fresh, which corresponds to my taste. This is really a wonderful culinary experience. While the price is affordable.
I love this restaurant as they have different vegetarian menus. With reasonable price you enjoy every bite happy. Thanks for the perfect service for more than 7 years travel to Mojokerto.
I think the taste is not too special. The nut pour just like ordinary pour and don't have any special taste (compared to many pecel rice in my city in Malang). However the Satay Komoh is delicious, and the price is quiete reasonable
Recently we went to this 'depot ' for a late lunch... the place was busy as always.. Great Taste and Generous portions... the have quite a selection of side dishes (Corn Fritters, Traditional Bbq Chicken, Satay... and so on... Very humbling and heart warming place.. :D
